Eikonikos Patients - Help Center FAQs
Eikonikos Partner is an advanced mobile application designed specifically for healthcare workers, including pharmacy owners and clinic assistants. It connects you with licensed doctors for secure video consultations, enabling you to offer patients immediate access to professional medical advice and digital prescriptions for common illnesses—all from your pharmacy or healthcare facility.
- Visit a Participating Pharmacy: Look for pharmacies displaying the Eikonikos Clinics logo. These friendly pharmacists (HCWs) are your first point of contact.
- Discuss Your Concerns: Explain your symptoms and any medications you're currently taking to the HCW. They can provide initial guidance and assess if a doctor's consultation is necessary.
- Connect with a Doctor: Eikonikos Clinics offers you two ways to connect with a licensed doctor:
- Instant Call: If you need immediate medical advice, choose the "Instant Call"option. The HCW will connect you directly with a doctor available for a video consultation.
- Schedule Call: For a consultation at your convenience, select "Schedule Call." Choose a time slot that works for you from the doctor's available schedule.
- Secure Video Consultation: During the video call, the doctor will ask you questions, examine you visually, and diagnose your illness.
- Diagnosis and Treatment Plan: Based on the consultation, the doctor will provide a diagnosis and explain your treatment options. They may recommend self-care measures or prescribe medication if needed.
- National List of Medicines (NLM): Doctors on Eikonikos Clinics can prescribe medications only from the NLM, a list of around 650 approved medications for common illnesses. You can access a PDF of the NLM within the pharmacy's Eikonikos Partner app (for informational purposes only).
- Get Your Medication: If a prescription is needed, the doctor will create a digital
prescription within the Eikonikos Partner app. The HCW at the pharmacy can then dispense the medication based on this valid prescription. - Order Local Pharmacy Delivery (Optional): In some locations, you may have the option to order your medication directly through the Eikonikos Clinics app for delivery from a nearby participating pharmacy. This eliminates the need for a separate trip to pick up your medication.
- Convenience: Get expert medical advice from the comfort of your local pharmacy, saving you time and travel.
- Flexibility: Choose between instant and scheduled consultations to fit your needs.
- Accessibility: Even if you're unable to visit a doctor's office, you can still receive care from qualified professionals through video calls.
- Peace of Mind: Ensure you're getting the right medication legally and ethically with doctor-prescribed prescriptions.
- Local Pharmacy Delivery (Optional): In select locations, receive your medication conveniently delivered from a nearby pharmacy (additional fees may apply).
